Morphum is sponsoring the IPWEA (Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia) Environment and Sustainability Award - the first of its kind!
Educational lessons on water, stormwater, pollution and water sensitive design were delivered in Auckland schools, paired with relevant interactive activities to get the students out of the classroom and implementing their learning. The lessons aim to increase the number of people educated about pollution prevention in our waterways through stormwater management practices, including rain tanks and stormwater harvesting.
Morphum Environmental has been engaged by Hamilton City Council to assess the entire open watercourse network in the Mangakotukutuku catchment, which totals 35 kilometres in length.
Morphum Environmental was engaged by Auckland Council to deliver educational lessons and water sensitive design options to select Auckland Primary Schools, as part of their Water Sensitive Schools Programme.
The Whangateau Domain Recreational Reserve comprises more than six hectares of coastal reserve, and contains sports fields, a playground, a campground, hall, public toilets and sports club rooms.
