Hana has a Bachelor of Chemistry, Environmental Science and Philosophy from the University of Auckland and started at Morphum Environmental in January 2018.
Growing up in a family business on off-the-grid Great Barrier Island, Hana is devoted to sustainable living and has business acumen. She has been an avid traveller throughout her life and most notably spent a year WWOOFing in Europe as a break from study, working within terrestrial environments and developing her knowledge of organic principles and environmental practices. These experiences pushed Hana to pursue the Environmental branch of her degree and give her insight into Morphum culture.
Previous management, field and research work in Environmental, Chemical and Business Administration fields gives Hana firm experience for her role as Project Manager. Positioned in the Sustainable Development team, Hana provides project management to geospatial, environmental assessment, engineering design and catchment management projects for Morphum’s established customer base and prospects and assists the Science team in field work, GIS and reporting.
Hana will apply her management, writing and communications experience, sustainability commitment and environmental background to enable successful delivery of projects. She will be working closely with senior GIS scientists to apply GIS to catchment studies and hydrological analysis and will liaise with councils, clients, contactors and the Morphum leadership team to develop and maintain key relationships, current projects and new opportunities.
