Work on a range of varied three waters projects
Who are we?
Morphum Environmental is an active industry leader in civil and three waters engineering, catchment management, environmental and geospatial services. We have won and been finalists for numerous industry awards. Our talented, driven and dynamic team of consultants are frequently invited to present at industry conferences.
Our main goal? To develop effective and lasting solutions that benefit our clients, their communities and the environment.
What is the role?
Our Waikato team is growing! If you are an environmental engineer wanting to add value to our team and really make an impact, this is the role for you.
Providing specialist technical advice to our clients and team, you will have the opportunity to add value on a range of interesting multidisciplinary projects. Projects range from integrated catchment management plans, stream remediation, watercourse assessments, GIS criticality modelling and storymap development. Some fieldwork is involved which gives you the opportunity to get out of the office!
You will help grow our service offering, and work closely with the Waikato Branch Manager and team to continue developing the business.
You will have a minimum of three years of experience in environmental engineering or consulting along with a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally a Bachelor of Environmental or Civil Engineering. You may have skills in one of the waters but now want to expand your knowledge in the others.
Ideally you will have experience or an interest in catchment planning, along with experience in one or more of the following areas:
engineering design scoping, investigation and options assessment
planning and design of three waters infrastructure
water sensitive design
geospatial tools and applications
You will be a great communicator and have a high level of computer literacy. Along with a passion for sustainability and the environment, your interest in water, stormwater and wastewater engineering will make you fit right in at Morphum. New Zealand experience is a definite advantage.
