What is the opportunity?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a graduate environmental scientist to join our dynamic and sustainably focused team. You will work on a wide range of interesting and multidisciplinary projects with a particular focus in the areas of terrestrial and/or freshwater ecology. The point of difference with this role is the chance to be involved in a wide range of projects and make a real difference to the environment – no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Undertaking ecological and environmental assessments and report findings
Management of environmental data sets as required
Contract, project and financial management of projects
Contribute to high quality detailed project reports
Working collaboratively within project teams
Supporting and developing client, supplier and subcontractor relationships

To be the successful candidate you will have:
Minimum of Bachelor of Science
Working knowledge of GIS and/or data management
Excellent report writing skills
Exceptional organisation and communication skills
Proven team player – able to work collaboratively with the Morphum team
High level of computer literacy
Self-motivated and proactive with ability to work autonomously
Proactive problem solving ability
Outstanding attention to detail
Experience in general ecology, ecological research and monitoring methods, terrestrial ecology understanding, and experience in community engagement and behaviour change would be an advantage, as too would post graduate qualifications.
