We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced planner to make a positive impact on the environment and community.

What is the role?

We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and talented individuals to provide expert planning services to our team of passionate engineers and scientists. This is an opportunity to prove your creative skills and leadership qualities.  This part time position will suit someone who may be returning to the workforce and wishes to maintain a great work-life balance, as we are prepared to offer flexible working hours for the right person. With offices right across New Zealand, this position could be based in any of our North Island locations - Auckland CBD, Warkworth, Hamilton or Wellington.

There is an exciting multidisciplinary aspect to this role requiring flexibility to apply your skills to diverse projects from contaminated site assessments to strategic infrastructure planning related work.

About you

Do you have a relevant tertiary qualification in Planning and/or Resource Management with proven professional experience in preparing planning documents with a particular focus on obtaining resource consents? You will possess excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills, be a self-starter, and able to work autonomously.

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of resource management legislation and practice, be responsible for project and financial management, be involved in business development, and is committed to sustainable practices and passionate about environmental management.
