Tim Dodd

Tim completed a Bachelor of Natural Resources Engineering (Hons) at the University of Canterbury in 2020.

In addition to traditional civil engineering concepts, his degree also specialised in ecological processes, wetland restoration, and water-sensitive urban design.

Alongside Engineering Tim has also studied Geography focusing on geomorphology, natural hazards, and climate science.

Before joining Morphum Environmental’s Wellington team in 2021 Tim worked as a Resource Consent Planner for Tasman District Council and as a Graduate Engineer for a small land development company in Canterbury.

Before graduating, he spent many years working as a landscape gardener.

Since a young age, Tim has been passionate about urban design and the natural environment. He believes in a sustainable future where our cities and agricultural land have positive relationships with Aotearoa’s natural ecosystems.

Tim is at home in the mountains, whether atop a snowboard or beneath a tramping pack. While in the City he’s a fan of supporting local eateries, theatre, and live music.
