Morphum Environmental held a contract to facilitate community engagement and education events for the Wai Care programme for a total of eight years. The length and success of the contract is testament to Morphum Environmental's expertise in science communication and science education.
Key deliverables:
Engagement with school and community groups to monitor the health of their local streams.
Organisation of riparian restoration planting days at key sites along the Lower Meola Creek and Omaru Creek with school and community groups.
The fostering of long term relationships with several large community groups.
The facilitation of a wide variety of community events including workshops, field trips and public events.
