The Great Warkworth Photo Competition

The Great Warkworth Photo Competition | Morphum Environmental

[Update (18 Feb 2016): The winner of The Great Warkworth Photo Competition was Sailing (pictured above), by Kim Buchanan.]

Following the recent expansion of the Morphum Environmental Northern Sector office, based in Warkworth, the Northern Sector team have been busy snapping photographs of our beautiful Auckland and Northland scenery with which to adorn their walls.

This process is taking the form of an internal photo competition, where members of the Morphum Environmental Northern Sector team may submit photographs to four categories for judging based on artistic merit, aesthetic merit, reflection of Morphum Environmental’s vision and values and inspiration factor. Ratings are given on a scale from “should have gone to Specsavers” to “exceptional”. The winning images will be printed and displayed at the office before the end of the year, and if you are local to the area the team invites you to come by in the new year and see the work up close.

The four categories are:

  • infrastructure
  • morphum mojo (e.g., photos from Morphum Environmental field work and events)
  • branch theme (anything specific to the Morphum Environmental Northern Sector team)

On another note, the Northern Sector team is enjoying the extra space in the Papworth building, and their new signage for enhanced street and office branding which has recently been installed (if you look closely, you may even be able to spot it on TVNZ’s new series, 800 Words).

Following are a selection of the incredible photographs which have been entered into the competition. At Morphum Environmental, we take immense pride in the diverse skills and talents of our team, and this case is no different.
