Designing Green Infrastructure

Many of the negative impacts of our urban environments are lowered by green infrastructure and water sensitive urban design, including runoff pollution, flood risk, demand on potable water supply and potential cross-contamination from wastewater.
we seek to adopt an integrated approach to water cycle management through rainwater/stormwater harvesting, catchment planning and through close collaboration with landscape architects and urban designers we promote developments which respond to there locally specific catchment context rather than fight against it. Our Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) services focus on understanding any site within the context of its natural water cycle, ecological values and connected receiving environments to inform designs which effectively and intentionally mitigate water quality and quantity impacts and connect communities with water.
With stronger management of water quality, the environmental, social and economic values of the surrounding areas can be protected or enhanced.
