Morphum Environmental is seeking two Graduate Engineers to join our Auckland team:
One Graduate Engineer – Operations
One Graduate Engineer – Engineering Design
These are separate roles, advertised together, allowing you to apply for the pathway that best aligns with your interests and strengths.

The two graduate pathways
Graduate Engineer – Operations
This role is ideal if you enjoy being close to delivery, construction, and real‑world problem solving.
You will:
- Support operational delivery of environmental and infrastructure projects
- Assist with fieldwork, site inspections, data collection, and monitoring
- Work alongside project managers, contractors, and councils
- Gain exposure to construction processes, on‑site constraints, and health & safety
- Build practical, delivery‑focused engineering capability
Graduate Engineer – Engineering Design
This role is suited to graduates who enjoy technical problem‑solving, analysis, and design work.
You will:
- Support engineering design tasks across land development, three waters, and environmental infrastructure projects
- Assist with calculations, modelling, and technical assessments
- Contribute to reports, drawings, and design documentation
- Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop strong foundations in environmental and civil engineering design
About you
We are looking for graduates who are motivated, curious, and aligned with our values.
You will:
- Have completed (or be close to completing) a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or similar)
- Be applying for either Operations or Engineering Design (you’ll be asked to nominate your preference)
- Hold strong environmental values and a genuine interest in sustainability
- Be eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and willing to grow
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be committed to respecting and actively upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with openness to developing your understanding of mātauranga Māori in your role
