Hannah Whyte is an Environmental Scientist in Auckland

Environmental Scientist

Hannah joined Morphum in June 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Applied Conservation and Geospatial Science and a Master of Science specialising in Environmental Science, both from Auckland University of Technology.  

Hannah was previously employed as a research assistant for AUT Living Laboratories, collecting data on experimental restoration of native forests on previous pastureland. She is passionate about the restoration and conservation of flora and fauna in both land and water within Aotearoa.

In her spare time, Hannah loves volunteering out on the water with Auckland Coastguard or with her local sea scout group. You can also find her hiking in the bush, paddleboarding or reading a good book at Muriwai.
