
Lily is an ecologist primarily focused on fauna, forests, and freshwater. They have experience working with avifauna, herpetofauna, acoustic bat surveys, and freshwater, wetland, and forest systems in both Aotearoa New Zealand and the United States. They have certifications for electric fishing, lizard surveys, and bird banding, and have been trained in Stream Ecological Valuation, freshwater macroinvertebrate identification, and Biodiversity Offset Accounting Modelling. Lily is happiest when playing with spreadsheets or handling wildlife!
Lily has a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) from Sewanee University, USA, and a Master of Conservation Biology degree with distinction from Victoria University of Wellington.
In their spare time, Lily is an avid reader and keen fibre artist.
