Rica is passionate about people, connections, and growth, with a strong belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to develop, regardless of their expertise. She completed a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Employment Relations and History from the University of Auckland, in September 2023. Rica began her career in Human Resources at an NGO before joining Morphum as the People & Culture Coordinator in December 2025.
Morphum’s commitment to environmental sustainability deeply resonated with Rica. As a Pasifika person, Rica is acutely aware of how climate change drastically impacts the Pacific Islands. Seeing Morphum’s work in this space empowers Rica, reminding them that meaningful and positive action is being taken to protect the environment.
In her role, she supports the People & Culture function across Morphum, including assisting with leave processes. Rica is eager to continue building her HR career by gaining experience across all areas of People & Culture.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to her home country, Samoa, whenever possible.
