Will holds a Master’s of GIS, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Redlands. The ability to further understand cultures and people from the perspective of location initially drove his interest into GIS, which has since evolved to a passion in understanding the ever-evolving landscape of people and culture both tied to a place, and decentralized in a global way. No matter where in the world you are, community tends to sprout around water systems, which is what initially introduced Will to the focus of water. During his career, Will has discovered he has a knack for getting people excited about mapping and the possibilities of GIS.
Will is a GIS/FME Consultant at Morphum, hoping to help communicate the value of GIS to interested clients, and share the power of possibility that is inherently a part of this technology. He wants to take the ideas of our clients and build out solutions that help them achieve these ideas, making tackling a new technology not as daunting for them.
Outside of work, Will is an avid reader, play tabletop games, and enjoy exploring with my dog.
