Joshua Raynes

Environmental Engineer

Josh completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering at Auckland University and is recognised as a Chartered Professional Engineer. Since then, his career has been dedicated to the field of environmental engineering, with a particular passion for stormwater management and guiding clients towards designs that effectively manage stormwater risks. He is driven by the desire to achieve water-sensitive outcomes that protect the natural environment and promote improved water quality in Aotearoa.

Josh has experience in residential and commercial stormwater management design including water sensitive urban design and green infrastructure implementation. His background in stormwater design includes developing master plans for stormwater improvements and contributing to the consenting of various land development projects. He is keen to apply his skills at Morphum Environmental to contribute to the design of innovative and sustainable solutions. Josh's design expertise is supported by his skills in using software for hydrological and hydraulic modelling of stormwater and drainage systems.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys exploring Aotearoa's natural landscapes with his young family any way he can, be it camping, hiking, 4wding, or hanging out at the beach.
