Morphum is sponsoring the IPWEA (Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia) Environment and Sustainability Award - the first of its kind!

The award will be given out at this year's IPWEA conference in June by one of our Directors. Check out Morphum and IPWEA’s announcement about the award below.

Morphum Environmental is excited to announce our sponsorship of IPWEA’s very first Environment and Sustainability Award. For the 2019 NZ Excellence Awards, IPWEA have created a new category for excellence in environment and sustainability, something Morphum is proud to support. The aim of this award is to promote examples of projects that have identified and managed environmental impacts and have improved the quality of the environment in a tangible and ongoing way. The award will be presented to the winner at the IPWEA NZ Annual Conference in Wellington in June.

Dean Watts, one of the Directors of Morphum, said there are always challenges in the areas of sustainability and balancing environmental impacts with growth and development. Dean thinks the creation of this award reflects the positive changes in the industry. “I feel like Morphum has been doing this for 20 years and the industry is just catching up with what we’ve been promoting for so long, it really feels like the beginning of something and that we’re on the crest of the wave”.

We are always looking for ways to support the industry and we look forward to seeing the great nominations for this exciting new award.
